Purpose of the book

This book has two primary objectives. The first objective is to introduce and compare modern Scrum and Agile scaling strategies in a single reference source. The second objective is to discuss how modern Scrum and Lean-Agile practices are not just about improving agility in software development, but also about achieving enterprise-wide business agility.

Given the scope of the two objectives, the book will serve as a guide to help support the growth and management of large software and cyber-physical product development programs, and also to help organizations achieve business agility across their value creation and value delivery processes.
