Rotating an object

Follow these steps to rotate an object:

1. Click on the picture you wish to rotate.
2. The rotate icon will appear at the top center of the object and is identified by a circular arrow:

3. Place the mouse pointer on the circular arrow and, while holding the left mouse button down, drag the position to rotate the object.

Another method would be to locate the Arrange group on the Picture Tools Format tab, as follows:

1. Click on the Rotate drop-down arrow.
2. Select the rotation option or access More Rotation Options….
3. The layout dialog box is very useful if a specific degree of rotation is required. Simply type the required degree of rotation into the text area provided next to the Rotation: heading, as shown in the following screenshot:
